March 2, 2016 | InsulectroEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
Insulectro, a distributor of materials for use in the printed circuit board (PCB) and printed electronics industries, has promoted longtime associate Michelle Walsh to director of product management.
“I am pleased today to announce the promotion of Michelle Walsh to a new and critical position within Insulectro,” commented Ken Parent, vice president of sales and product management. “For a number of years, Michelle has excelled at managing supplier relations within our company, including our strategic relationship with DuPont.
“As Insulectro has grown in size and in the number of suppliers, Michelle will expand her responsibilities in this new position,” Parent continued. “Walsh will guide sales and service efforts for new and legacy products being introduced into the PCB and Printed Electronics markets. She will focus on bringing faster technical service, and product information to PCB and PE fabricators as well as OEMs.”
Walsh has been a key player at Insulectro for over 17 years. She has an extensive knowledge of Insulectro systems, PCB processes, technical background, and is often lauded for her great rapport with suppliers and customers. Walsh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
“2016 promises to be an important year for Insulectro,” stated Insulectro President Patrick Redfern. “Michelle has been the driving force behind our growth with DuPont and our Focus Tech chemical product lines. In her new expanded role, she will continue our commitment to making our customers’ businesses stronger as we all confront the rapidly changing marketplace and the adoption of new technologies.”
Parent concluded, “Michelle will have a high profile in our IPC APEX EXPO activities in March. We encourage all of our customers, suppliers, and colleagues to drop by our booth (#534) and say ‘Hi’ to Michelle. She’ll be working hard to educate attendees on what’s new from our top-flight suppliers.”
